About Hotel Villa Selene

Opened in 1968, always owned and managed by the same family, renovated and restructured in 2006-7l spreads into four close, functional buildings in a large wooded parkland. It is an ideal place for outdoor activities (trekking, mountain bike, canoeing, horse riding, climbing, hiking, bird watching etc). We can offer you a different and unknown Sardinia, with its breathtaking views of mountains, trees, flowers, yet very close to the sea. Villa Selene Hotel is situated on a hill in a restful and panoramic area, at the foot of the Gennargentu mountain, overlooking the sea.The Hotel has 70 bedrooms, each room is elegantly decorated and comfortably furnished some with balconies or private garden. The restaurant serves home-made, healthy and tasty traditional Italian dishes as well as the typical Ogliastra recipies. A rich and inviting buffet breakfast (including salami, selection of cheese, bread and boiled eggs) starts the day. Try our homemade specialities: small cream puffs, crpes with a choice of jams and marmalades, daily fresh yoghurt and a piping hot chocolate.
