The family-run 3-star Hotel Wattenkieker is situated directly at the Sahlenburger beach in Cuxhaven. In Cuxhaven and its surroundings you can discover many points of interest. In particular, the unique nature around the hotel invites you to go for extensive walks. Even in the favoured summer months you will find in the nearby Wernerwald (forest) and in the salt meadows rest and recovery. The Wattenkieker offers modern accommodation. Enjoy from the comfortable balcony of your room the splendid view on the national park Wadden Sea, which since 2009 is a World Heritage Site. In the morning the hosts will make for you the „Wattenkieker-Breakfast“ with sweet or savoury goodies from the buffet, freshly cooked eggs, fish salad, a variety of muesli and juices for a healthy fitness breakfast and of course aromatic coffee or tea. This will be a good start for a day at the sea! The restaurant serves typical regional dishes and fish specialties. A sauna area is available as well.
