Wayside Guest Accommodation offers luxury bed and breakfast is situated at the base of Black Combe in the Lake District, (the only hill/almost mountain in the country where you can see the whole of the British Isles and the Isle Of Man) surrounded by stunning scenery, the Cumbrian coast and a short distance from the towns of Millom and Ravenglass. It is the perfect location for horseriding, especially on the beach and the fells. we have two fantastic horse riding stables nearby, Murthwaite Green and Cumbria Heavy Horses. Wayside Farm was built in approximately 1637 on the quieter west coast side of the Lake District National Park. It has now been converted to a lovely bed and breakfast renamed Wayside Guest Accommodation & Whisky Barn. Our bed and breakfast is an ideal place to stay if you are touring the western lake district, we have private off road parking. Our licensed bar is well stocked with spirits, wines, real ale and cold Peroni on tap. There is also an extensive range of Single Malt Whisky’s to try or you could buy one to take back home with you. Evening meals are available from Monday through to Saturday serving an a la carte menu, the bar and kitchen are closed Sundays during summer.
