Hotel Windsor Palace (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)

Being just a stone-throw away from the Beautiful Copacabana Beach, it's no wonder that guests have appreciated the location of the Windsor Palace. Not only is it so close to the Rio beaches but is also close to other attractions such as the National History Museum and endless shopping in the nearby mega-malls.

With impeccable service by staff, this hotel will make hospitality offered to guests of paramount importance. From the reception to the cleaners, each staff member is able to speak English and eager to cater for each guest's need. This kind of service level offered has made guests eager to return and happy to review this hotel as exceptional.

Another positive that has been noted by guests are the amenities offered by the hotel. With an outdoor pool and sun-loungers on the rooftop terrace, fitness center and the extravagant buffet breakfast, guests are able to enjoy the luxury paradise without even needing to leave the hotel.

Although it did not detract from the whole experience, the Wi-Fi offered by the hotel always required devices to log in after leaving and returning to the hotel. Once logged in, problems did sometimes occur where guests found that the connection was slow or they had lost connection entirely.

The area is alive with festivities and activities but the other side of this can be negative as it means noise is experienced in the rooms late at night. Guests have praised the cosmopolitan surroundings but some have complained that it results in difficult to sleep conditions.

Some guests have complained that they were disallowed to invite their own guests into their rooms and the hotel management was somewhat strict in this regard.
