Located near the beach and the Beachwood Golf Club, Wyndham at The Cottages offer 161 condo-style cottages and outdoor and indoor pools. The two and three-bedroom cottages accommodate up to ten and 14 guests. Amenities include a whirlpool tub, a full kitchen with washer/dryer, and flat-screen TVs with cable channels. All cottages feature a balcony. Amenities at Wyndham at The Cottages include an outdoor hot tub and BBQ/picnic area. Younger guests can enjoy the children’s pool and playground, while both children and adults have access to the “Get Out and Play” activities program. Guests largely rely on the provided self-catering equipment but may also visit the on-site Sea Breeze Cafe and visit nearby restaurants such as the Bonefish Grill, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Applebee’s. The resort is near Alligator Adventure and the Myrtle Beach Mall. Attractions such as Ripley’s Aquarium and SkyWheel are within 15 miles of the property.

Guests typically find the cottages to be of a good overall standard with plenty of space for the whole family to relax. The selection of included amenities covers all your travel needs and provide a home-like environment.
It's very unlikely that you'll ever get chance to get bored during a vacation at this resort. The Get Out and Play program offers activities for people of all ages, so the whole family can get involved.
Many guests comment that the location of this resort is excellent. Not only will you be within a few minutes walk of the beach, you'll find yourself within easy reach of a good choice of attractions, many of which are within 20 miles or so of the property.
It should probably come as little surprise given how popular this resort is with families, but a number of guests do comment that the pools always seemed to be overly crowded. Many guests chose to visit the beach instead.
Since this is a timeshare resort, there's a good chance you'll come under some pressure to attend a sales presentation. While some guests were happy to do so, some comment that the presentations went on far too long - more than three hours in some cases.
Although guests typically comment that the cottages are found in good condition, some do mention that they, along with the other facilities, are starting to show their age. The resort is due to undergo complete refurbishment in 2017.
