Guests liked the easy access to the Highway 526 and Route 17. Sullivan Island and the historic sites around Mount Pleasant attracted many visitors, but it is still not too far from Charleston, which is less than a ten mile drive away. Charleston International Airport is a little over fifteen miles away. The hotel is not in one of the main tourist areas, making it quieter than other properties.

Many guests liked the updated rooms the hotel provides, and the amenities in the room, like fridge and microwave. The beds are described as comfortable and the rooms are quiet, as the soundproofing is quite good. Wi-Fi reception was not an issue for most guests. Cleanliness was great. Many guests felt they received a good value for their money.
