Hotel Zermatt Utah (Midway, USA)

This was by far what most impressed guests during their stay. It was especially those travelling in winter who appreciated both the outlook over the snow-capped mountains, as well as the hotel grounds with their charming seasonal attractions and facilities.

Many guests were very impressed with the shuttle the hotel provided. It was said to run fairly long hours and ferry guests to all nearby locations in comfort.

Guests, especially those travelling in summer, were clearly charmed with the farm animals that were housed at the resort. Those with families were especially happy that their children could get a bit of a taste of country life. While a few animals were mentioned, it seems that it was the goats that were most fondly recalled.

This was perhaps the most common, and most serious, complaint. Many guests reported that the walls seemed rather thin, allowing even fairly normal sounds from adjacent rooms to leak into their own. This did cause a bit of a restless night for some who had less than considerate neighbors.

A surprising number of guests felt that the hotel was not sufficiently staffed. They spoke about waiting very long times at both check in/out and at the restaurant and reckoned that this was because the hotel did not assign enough staff to the tasks that had to be performed.

Guests did not think much of the food offered at the two onsite restaurants. Most of the reviews of the food seemed to range from merely “OK” to terrible, leaving guests unimpressed.
