Inspira Santa Marta Hotel & Spa (Lisbon, Portugal)

Located exactly in the middle of Lisbon, Inspira Santa Marta is a great spot to explore everything the city has to offer. And, because most attractions are within walking distance, you don’t need to worry about transportation.

With a Feng Shui theme throughout the entire hotel, you will feel relaxed from the second you walk in. The rooms have comfortable beds, with Espresso machines, and flat-screen televisions.

Whether you want to use the sauna, steam room, or head into the Jacuzzi, you will be greeted with a big, white fluffy towel upon your exit. There’s also a fully equipped gym.

Though there are some excellent food choices here, you might get frustrated at the wait staff. They tend to seem to be uninterested with keeping on top of the buffet, as well as helping you out. You might have to seek them out if you want something extra.

The bathroom has a door with one-way glass on it, which can be a little disorienting at first. In some rooms, the shower is in the bedroom with just a glass wall in between.

Although the front desk might encourage you to sleep in and get to breakfast later, there aren’t as many choices. The longer breakfast goes on, the less likely the staff is to refill the options.
