Holiday Inn San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf is a 3 star hotel in the heart of the Wharf area and less than half a mile from the ferry to Alcatraz. Downtown San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge are 3 miles and there is a public transport stop close to the hotel for connections throughout the city. There are 585 air conditioned guest rooms and suites with en-suite bathroom, room safe, direct dial telephone with free local calls, television with cable TV channels and Pay-TV, as well as free high speed internet access. The suites have a separate living area with dining table, microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast is provided every morning and the restaurant is open for dinner and serves a continental cuisine. Leisure facilities include an outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace and sun loungers, as well as a fitness centre. For conferences and events there is a business centre and seven meeting rooms available, with 4,500 square feet of space and is complete with modern technical equipment. Public car parking is on site but charges will apply.
