While uber-sleek and modern, the bungalows nevertheless have a charming and romantic feel to them. All are set in lovely gardens and feature panoramic views of the nearby mountains. They have every amenity you could possibly want, including high tech features like Apple TV’s and Nest thermostats. L'Horizon Resort & Spa is perhaps best known now for its lovely gardens and extensive spa. Guests are free to stroll around the gardens and choose from a wide variety of beauty and therapeutic treatments at the spa. The So-Pa Restaurant offers seasonal menus at all three meals, served al-fresco under gorgeous treed canopies. Those looking for a bit of adventure may head to the exciting Palm Springs Tramway, an aerial gondola above the mountains. It is less than five miles to the north of L'Horizon Resort & Spa.

This is undoubtedly what most impressed guests during their stay. The grounds, including the pool area, were said to be exceptionally well designed and maintained. Together with the views out over the mountains guests felt that the setting was truly exceptional.
Guests were clearly very impressed with their rooms. What most seemed to impress was not any specific amenity, but rather the whole atmosphere created by the interior design, the garden and the lovely outlook. Guests did also mention, however, that the rooms were very well equipped.
Going through the reviews, one loses track of the number of times a guest mentioned that the staff were not merely fantastic in the ordinary way, by being friendly and helpful, but that they went far beyond this and offered the personalised service that is one of the hallmarks of a true luxury property.
There were a few grumbles when it came to dining at the resort. The restaurant has a Michelin star, so naturally expectations go through the roof. There were some guests whose expectations were not met, and others who would simply have liked more casual dining options, especially for breakfast and lunch.
