This is the cleanest and most well kept motel I have ever stayed in, especially for its age. Super charming. Highly recommend. No frills but extremely clean and comfortable. Whoever manages this property clearly takes pride in a job well done and it shows!

It was a comfortable place to stay for two nights while on business. It included a nice book of area restaurants and other services. My room shared a door with the room next door, and I could hear every word of their phone call, so not a lot of sound proofing. But starting around 9:30 p.m., everything was really quiet.

Quaint motel. Right next to Canadian Pacific rail line. Felt very safe. Think Motel 6. Just a bed and a place to shower. Office staff was very eager to make sure we had everything we needed and then beyond. Stayed there to be near Banks of Plum Creek for Little House on the Prairie. Will stay here again as it was very clean, very safe, very friendly, very quiet. Very peaceful.

10/10 would stay again. While it could use updates, the property supplies everything you'd need for a motel stay. Cable TV, microwave, mini fridge, plenty of outlets, great lighting, coffee maker suitable for k cups. Given inflation I definitely feel that the cost to amenity ratio was perfect for what I was looking for. And a shoutout to supplying an array of coffee brands!!! There are also a good amount of places to eat in the area and the owner provides a really detailed binder of this. The grocery store in town is stocked with everything you'd need.

It was quite. There was no where to go to see anything very secluded only 1 place to eat and it was a tavern. We were scheduled to stay 2 nights but only stayed 1 and then left. Probably 1 of the worse place to stay stay

Convenient to the attractions around the area and property located in a rural town.

We did NOT stay here. They wanted a very large deposit

Next door neighbors had hunting dogs that barked and howled a lot. They had left them alone in the room when they went out.

Clean "smelling" but also very clean. There is a difference. Best hotel bed I've encountered - i prefer a firm mattress. Take quick showers. Set off carbon monoxide detector after about 15 minutes. Staff were wonderful. I'd stay again.

The door lock was broken (non existent) so we couldn’t lock the door at bedtime from the inside. We stacked a chair and dresser in front of the door for our safety. Front desk admitted it was broken and said someone “might” fix it this week. Very negligent

Great place great valueI love the comfortable bed and the location was extremely convenient. The staff in the breakfast was absolutely wonderful. It was great water pressure in the shower and it made my hair so soft.They need to invest in a lamp that you can plug in plug-ins and USB cables into the lamp there was only one plug-in and one of the plug-ins had the lamp into it. We know and understand that they are remodeling but a lot of it was just a little cosmetic things like the plug-in in the sink portion of the bathroom did not work.

only thing I would improve is better plowing in the parking lot. room was clean and smelled good. bed was very comfortable.

Great choiceThe staff was very pleasant. The room was so clean, I was impressed. The location was only a block from my destination. This was definitely a good value.It got a bit noisy when guests checked in next door, rather late, but quickly quieted down.

Water pressure in the shower was great! Mints and water bottles in the room left for guests to use. Cute throw pillows. Comfortable firm beds. Decent price. Clean and well maintained despite the aged building showing its years. .It was well off the beaten path. The building showed its years.

Great choiceGreat choice for our family while we were in town for the Walnut Grove Laura Ingalls Wilder pageant. Owner was very welcoming. Facilities were clean.

Good motel and good value..Good location, clean, right on the highway on our way to Walnut Grove.Breakfast was all high carbs and included cookies.
