The hotel is a converted tobacco warehouse which still retains many of its original period features. Guests said that the interior of the hotel which showcases numerous artworks from local artists was very impressive and many appreciated learning about the building's rich historical past. .

Noise issues.
Guests whose rooms were located at the front of the building and on the lower floors said that they could hear quite a bit of noise from the street below which prevented them from getting a good night's sleep. If you are a light sleeper it's advisable to ask for a room on one of the upper floors. .

The choice on offer at breakfast was said to be rather limited with many guests stating that the continental buffet was rather uninspiring and objected to the lack of healthy options such as fresh fruit.
