All of the staff at this hotel are delightful. You'll get a warm welcome from the front desk and the bar staff will happily have a chat with you. Everyone is attentive and thoughtful and will go out of their way to make sure you feel like a valued customer.
Lido Beach Resort is perfect if you want to take a stroll along the beach. Also, it is close to St. Armands Circle, where you can find lots of restaurants and shops. There is a decent shuttle service from the hotel which will take you there and back.
Many of the guestrooms at this property offer a delightful view of the ocean. It is a lovely sight to wake up to. What's more, the rooms are clean and comfortable, with all of the amenities you will require for a relaxing stay.
Some of the air-conditioning units in guestrooms are really rather loud. If you have them on at night then you might have trouble getting to sleep. Unless you are prepared to switch it off and have an uncomfortably hot room, you should probably bring your earplugs.
If you are planning on drinking alcohol then, be warned, the bar prices at Lido Beach Resort are very much on the high side. So make sure you budget for this when planning your stay.
The outdoor pools don't stay open especially late, so you won't be able to take a midnight swim. The pool bar closes quite early too.
