A highlight for many guests who have stayed at Hotel Mabi is the free food and drinks that are provided each afternoon. Guests report that the tasty morsels include sweets, wine, fruit, tea, coffee and olives amongst other things. It's also a good opportunity to meet other guests and generally makes everyone feel at home.

Hotel Mabi offers an ideal location in the centre of Maastricht. There are numerous eateries in the surrounding area so there's never any problem finding a restaurant meal or a tasty snack such as waffles or chips and mayonnaise. The wide range of stores offer excellent retail therapy and the historic Market and Vrijthof Squares are a pleasant stroll away through picturesque streets.

While acknowledging that some of the movie-themed public areas were pleasant, a few guests remarked that in their opinion the décor of some of the rooms is perhaps a little dated. They felt that the hotel would benefit from a degree of modernisation which would in turn improve the quality of the accommodation.

Several guests found the beds at Hotel Mabi too soft for their liking, so bear this in mind if you prefer a firm mattress.
