Guests found Marmara’s staff to be welcoming, courteous and helpful with organising tickets and bookings during their stay, while the bar at reception was also deemed to be worth checking out.

The modern oriental design of the hotel, combined with clean and comfortable rooms for a very good price made the vast majority of guests very happy about choosing to stay here.

From here, you will be able to easily walk to the Danube for a river cruise, check out the Parliament Building, shopping and other city attractions, and good public transport options nearby mean it is easy to go a little further to places like Buda Castle and the spas.

Some guests have reported the Wi-Fi strength to be poor in certain areas of the hotel, so if you really need access for work, perhaps try to request a room close to the routers.

With a lack of air conditioning, a few guests found the rooms too hot during balmy weather, but this was a rare problem with most people seeming to get by fine.

Marmara’s complimentary breakfast buffet left as many people happy as it did disappointed, with some pleased with the selection and help-yourself service, and others not impressed by the food quality and the same offering every day.
