Guests loved the clean, comfortable accommodation, the friendly greetings in the lobby, and the endless supply of quality tea and coffee. To add to that you will receive a complimentary glass of champagne, and a bag of pineapple lollies to symbolise warmth and hospitality.
Several guests were very pleased and pleasantly surprised when the friendly reception staff offered them a complimentary upgrade upon check-in. Guests also found a lovely handwritten note and complimentary bottled water with a small box of chocolates waiting for them after dinner.
With a location just on the outskirts of the CBD, yet close enough with a short drive, guests said they appreciated the quiet surroundings, yet it was only a five-minute walk to the main shopping hub on Collin's Street.
A number of visitors felt the hotel could do with a bit of a facelift, both on the outer building, and in some of the rooms. The carpets were just a little drab according to visitors, and the rooms were not as bright and inviting as many of them had expected.
