Mi Casa Hotel (Orlando, USA)

Sunny Florida days call for a dip in the pool, and the Quality Suites Universal South delivered. The spacious pool was a delightful place to go for a swim to cool off. While guests would have liked more pool towels, they loved the tiki bar that served light meals and drinks.

Many guests staying at this hotel were there to partake in Disney World or Universal Studios related activities. This hotel provided a great home base for getting to and from the parks quickly. A free shuttle to Disney World was also a bonus for guests.

Guests out and about for the day were pleased with the savings this hotel provided. Many visitors to Quality Suites Universal South spent limited time in their rooms, only using the hotel as a bed to sleep in, and were happy to spend less and use their money elsewhere.

It seems there was room for improvement with housekeeping staff, according to numerous guests. Unclean sheets, a messy coffee maker area, and carpet that wasn't vacuumed were among the issues that guests had with their rooms.

Customer service was hit and miss at Quality Suites Universal South, but many guests had encounters with impolite staff who were less than accommodating. Front desk staff who took personal calls while customer waited, or staff who treated customers poorly when reporting grievances, left a lot to be desired for many staying at this hotel.

While guests appreciated the free continental breakfast consisting of waffles, two kinds of cereal, hard boiled eggs, coffee, juice and pastries, they didn't appreciate how crowded the breakfast area was. It seems that everyone arrived at roughly the same time, making it hard to find a place to eat, or causing guests to wait in line.
