Centrally situated between Shimbashi railway Station and City Hall, Mitsui Garden Shiodome Italia Gai is a modern business-oriented hotel with a bit of an Italian theme. The surprisingly spacious rooms have a “business standard” feel to them, but are nonetheless quite comfortable. Each features air purifier, minibar, flat screen TV with satellite channels, hairdryer, in-room safe, tea/coffee station, work desk and telephone. The on-site Vasco Gardens public bath is available to guests free of charge. Motorists will also find public parking on-site, and all will be impressed with the array of vending machines on each floor. Café La Maria is the main dining venue and specialises in a wide range of Italian favourites. The Shimbashi neighbourhood is quite central, and has much of interest in its own right, such as City Hall and a variety of temples and shrines.
