The rooftop of the building boasts a plunge pool which is perfect to cool you down when the weather gets hot. The outdoor bar also offers spectacular views over Seville and there is an interior courtyard which is another area to cool down in.
The rooms are bright and airy and offer lots of character whilst being very contemporary. Decorated in muted shades it is an extremely relaxing atmosphere and like an oasis in a bustling city. The bathrooms are also luxurious with a powerful shower. The public areas are very well decorated and the service extremely efficient. The hotel is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and many visitors choose the hotel based on this, knowing to expect that extra level of service and attention to detail.
The Hotel Palacio de Villapanes is located just ten minutes from the city centre, about 20-minutes’ walk to the cathedral. Although within easy reach of everything it’s in a nice quiet area. The airport is approximately a 20-minute transfer and there is parking available but this is at extra charge.
Depending on the location of your room you may find it to be a little dark.
Travellers who enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the morning may be disappointed to hear there is no kettle in the rooms.
Some previous guests have been very impressed with the view from their bedroom window however others have not had anything of note to look out at. If having a nice view is important to you then you should request this in advance from the hotel.
