Pikisaari Guesthouse is a picturesque timberhouse built in 1885. The house is fully renovated with traditional materials in 2018 and decorated with a charming mixture of old and new. Every room has it's own character. The family rooms in the attic are cosy and shallow. Please note that the staircases are steep. Shared facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a living room with dining area, 2 toilets and a sauna. The kitchen is ready for cooking your own breakfast and meals. We also offer discount coupons for a buffet breakfast. The restaurant is located at the market square, only 600 meters from the guesthouse. Pikisaari island is located in the delta of the Oulu River, just off the city center. Many local artists and craftsmen live or work on the historic island. There is a 2 km long outdoor trail around the island with very nice scenery. Within walking distance there are several parks, beaches, walkways and cycle paths that follow the riverside.
