Guests loved this little home away from home, except unlike your home, this home is on the beach! You'll be a short walk away from the Mediterranean where you can swim and sunbathe as long as you'd like, with a few seconds walk back to your room.
Guests have praised the owner of the apartments as extremely charming and helpful. He wants all of his guests to enjoy his island and he can give you local tips on where to swim and where to eat.
There are many places in Greece that are designed for parties, this is not one of them. With a family atmosphere and in a quaint fishing village, you'll find that most guests just want to unwind while staring at the sea.
Mostly in the summer time, the guests have been pestered by mosquitos. While some guests did not mind, other guests said that it was a real nuisance. Make sure to pack some bug repellent!
Some guests have commented that the kitchens should include a bit more gadgets for a four-star location. However, some guests did not mind because if you ever need to eat out, the village's restaurants are very affordable.
For most of Crete, the beaches are more on the rocky side as is the one in front of the hotel. Although some guests might find this exotic, you might not feel the same. Luckily, if you feel that you'd like a more sandy beach, they are accessible by car or bicycle.
