The Keystone Lodge and Spa is best suited for guests looking for a spa holiday filled with lots of skiing activities. Surrounded by three mountains, the place is a skier's paradise. Ice skating is another activity that can be found in winter and summers are for bicycling. The Lakeside village which is close by has numerous shops, restaurants and galleries to keep guests entertained. A golf course is nearby too.
The rooms and suites have an attractive pine furnishing. Bathrooms are private and amenities like bathrobes are provided. The suites which are in a split arrangement have lofts for bedrooms and sitting areas have sofa beds. Lovely views of the mountain and river are seen from the rooms.
The lodge is equipped with a state of the art spa which forms its primary attraction. With 14 treatment rooms including a hydro-therapy room, treatment room for couples, and boutique with nail salon, guests feel pampered and relaxed. The products used are organic and native. Hidden costs are plenty. Breakfast is not included. There's no air conditioning in summer, which can be pretty uncomfortable.
Valet is very inefficient and takes an hour to get the car of the guests. It is irksome to depend on valet but self parking is quite impractical.
The stairways are narrow and unpleasant to use. They appear old too and can do with a fresh coat of paint.
