The isolation was one of the things people commented on enjoying. If you want hustle and bustle of city life, don’t come here. If you want a place to ‘get away’ and find some solitude, you’re in good (albeit limited) company.
Guests mention that staying here can be rather expensive. Whether it’s the room price, the restaurant or general store, you may pay more than usual because they have a monopoly on the area.
Some guests indicated that they feel it was less of a spa experience and more like a camping excursion. Even though they know they are surrounded by sand, they felt the location could be cleaned better.
A number of people mentioned the aging furniture looking like something you’d see at a yard sale. More than a few people commented it had a worn out or run down vibe.
