About Rija Old Town Hotel

The Meriton Old Town Hotel was built on the foundation of a 14th century tower that crumbled in 1880. It is situated next to the historical building of the horse mill and close to the St. Olavs Church, Three Sisters and Fat Margaret Tower. There are 41 rooms, among which guests can find anti allergy rooms, rooms for single people and rooms for people with disabilities. All rooms are non-smoking, with a shower, minibar, telephone and satellite TV. Bella Vita rooms include balconies, and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel also offers family rooms. The pseudo-Gothic design of the rooms feature dark colours, natural stone and wood, and there is also imitation medieval style lighting. Hotel facilities include laundry and dry cleaning services, babysitting and wireless internet for an additional fee). The cafe/restaurant Mademoiselle on the ground floor serves breakfast and lunch, as well as cakes and pastries.
