The staff at the hotel are very courteous. The hotel owner is a very attentive individual who really cares about the facility. You are just a few minutes walk from the beach and there are hotel sun lounges and umbrellas waiting for you to use on the beach as well.
The hotel is in a great place. It is close to downtown Miami and close to the metro-mover station. You can always find something to do and much within walking distance.
Except for parking, the hotel price is not bad compared to other hotels in the area. In addition, you are just minutes away from the most expensive hotel in Miami downtown. It's not super cheap, but the price is reasonable.
It seems that the whole recycling, eco-friendly thing doesn't really exist. Things are just thrown away. The pool area can be a bit dangerous as well. There is glass lying about and the pool water appears dingy.
Rooms have a dark decor and somewhat empty. Plugs are scarce in the room. Carrying a light around and searching for plugs is not what you have in mind for your holiday. The amenities are quite basic as well.
There is no opportunity for self-parking, which means more money coming out of your pocket if you want your car right near to the hotel, and it's expensive too! Amongst other things, you may find holes in the wall and lots of trash laying about outside the hotel. The breakfast is just bland. The staff is friendly but have no clue about the area. The elevator is creaky too, it needs to be replaced.
