The rooms are newly renovated, extra spacious and furnished and decorated to a very high standard. They have all the amenities you could possibly need and are especially well equipped with high tech gadgets like large flat screen TV’s and advanced media centers. Despite being in the very heart of the city’s shopping and financial districts, it has somehow managed to create a lovely tropical oasis in its gardens, which also contain the outdoor pool. There is also an extensive spa and fitness center. Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok has an incredible variety of dining available onsite, from light Asian cuisine at The Salsa Cafe near the pool to the more sophisticated Living Room, scene of jazz, light meals and great cocktails. The incredible shopping on Sukhumvit Road is right outside the door.
It was a challenge for guests to be critical of this hotel. Everything was top notch, from the spacious and upscale rooms, to the carefully thought-out common areas. But what stood out for many was the authentic but luxurious vibe that was a respite from busy Bangkok. The topical pool made it hard for guests to imagine that they were in the middle of the big city, and if asked if they would like to return, guests answered with a resounding, "yes!".
Guests enjoyed the high level of service that they received, which included personal greetings, a responsive can-do attitude, and a friendly demeanor to complete the total customer service package. Guests said that the bar was set high for hospitality, and that it would be hard to find the same kind of outstanding service at other hotels.
You just might do a happy dance after digging in to the many delicious food offerings found here. Taste buds rejoiced and stomachs were left speechless after being met with a succession of mouthwatering menu items, the best of which were the breakfast and dinner buffets.
