Guests say that the Side Alegria Hotel & Spa in Kumköy, Turkey, is great for the beach. A few selection of shops are close by and many more are located slightly further away, so guests have plenty of shopping indulgence. They like that the large and sandy beach is five minutes away.
The rooms are modern with sea views. Most guests enjoyed the two pools in two different areas of the hotel. One had a slide and guests say this pool is particularly busy as both kids and adults loved them. Some guests find the evening entertainment amusing and fun.
Staff is friendly and accommodating. Guests say that the all inclusive food is really good and plentiful. Guests say they have never seen so many salads to choose from. They also appreciated that the all-inclusive deal extended to the food and drink facilities at the beach located five minutes away.
Guests say that the hotel is used mostly by Eastern European guests so it favours German language. This poses a difficulty for English speaking guests as managing to communicate and get what they want is a challenge.
Many guests say that the entertainment arranged for children is in an underground ballroom. There is no sufficient ventilation and the only thing shown is a DVD in a foreign language. Some guests say that the pool area is not supervised diligently and some kids on the water slides got hurt without proper control.
Guests say that several of the amenities like children's club, pool bars and water slides were closed to them during their stay. The reason stated as end of season which they say is totally unacceptable as they have paid for the stay with all the facilities.
