Sonnenalp is a luxury resort in the center of Vail Village which has received overwhelmingly positive reviews for the level of comfort, the upkeep of rooms and the amenities on offer. Some guests felt that this is the best hotel in Vail. The spa treatments are both relaxing and invigorating. The quaint architecture and the custom made Bavarian furniture are also much appreciated.
A few guests felt that the service is so good that the staff is able to anticipate guest requirements even before they are articulated. The excellent staff looks after guests and is quick to solve any problems that crop up. The hotel is great for business and pleasure, feel guests.

During the busy months of year, the whole village can get quite crowded and noisy as a result of this. Some guests thought that the village was overrun by kids and bikes.
