About Springs Hotel Ulaanbaatar

Established in 1936, Fort Macon State Park is located on the tip of the Bogue Banks and offers visitors the opportunity to discover the coastal ecosystems. There is a sunbathing and swimming beach, as well as fishing, picnic and hiking options. The park office operates from 08h00 to 13h00 and 14h00 to 17h00 (weekdays only ) and details of various educational events can be found at the website. The State Park is also home to Fort Macon, a fortification with 26 casements which dates from 1826 and has also once served as a federal prison. The fort is open to the public from 09h00 to 17h30 daily and guided tours are available. Exhibits provide a glimpse into the living conditions of the soldiers and historic re-enactments are occasionally presented.
