This hotel is centrally located. You are in close proximity to restaurants, museums and shopping as well as many popular local sights and it's just a 20-minute drive to Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. The hotel provides airport shuttle service for a fee.

It's great to know that pets are welcome at this hotel, especially for those who love to travel with their favorite canine companions. There is a fee for this amenity and some restrictions may apply.

You may have to wait for service at the restaurants here, especially on weekends and during peak travel season. The good news is that once you're seated and served, you'll find that the food was worth the wait.

Although Doubletree by Hilton St. Louis Union Station offers both valet and self-parking, it's best to choose the valet. It's a long hike from the self-parking lot to the lobby, for nearaly the same fee, and the valet makes the check-in process a lot smoother.

This hotel is quite large and maze-like due to its having once been a train staion and therefore, things can be a bit confusing as you try to navigate from point A to point B. This is compounded by a lack of clear signage which can make getting around the property a bit frustrating.
