Guests were of the opinion that the staff well and truly went out of their way to be as helpful as possible, reportedly proving to be knowledgeable in local matters, as well as friendly and attentive in all aspects of service and available around the clock. Furthermore, the majority of those who ate in for breakfast were very happy with what was served up.
Those who previously stayed here noted that it was a great spot from which they could explore the Salzburg Old Town since all of the main attractions of this were only a simple stroll away through the short and safe hill tunnel. Public transport apparently also runs in this direction, for those who would rather save their legs for exploring downtown, while restaurants and other necessities were also said to be close by.
Reviews describe these simple rooms as being quiet, comfortable and kept in a nice clean condition throughout guest visits. Overall, guests generally thought the hotel to be well priced given its proximity to the old town.
The breakfasts here were apparently considered a little too expensive by some of those who stayed and guests were occasionally disappointed it was not included in the price. On a similar note, the parking charges here were also not very popular.
