For many guests, the nature of the visit was related to the University of Washington which is situated about a kilometer away. This hotel has received many great reviews boasting the hotel's fine location in respect of the university making it a hotel of choice for many visitors.

Coupled with the benefit of being conveniently located, this hotel further provides a shuttle service transporting guests to nearby places of interest and attractions from the hotel.

This hotel is somewhat unique in respect of its allowances when it comes to dogs. Whilst most hotels have a strict 'no pet policy', Watertown Hotel offers guests, or to be specific, offers dogs accommodations so your lovable pets need not miss out on the vacation. At a fee, this hotel treats your dog with a dog bed, water bowl and treats.

Some guests have complained that an amount of 'frills' had been lacking for the price paid. No room service and guests hafting to carry luggage, as there is no bellman, did not fit the price paid. Guests have simply expected a bit more of a sophisticated and luxurious stay at the Watertown Hotel.

Guests have returned to a sweltering room after a day out due to the air-conditioners not being in working order. Problems were also experienced at night where the air-conditioner turned off and the room heated up to very uncomfortable temperatures.

Insofar as the cleaning is concerned, there is a lack of attention to detail when rooms are made up and prepared for new guests. Guests have found beds unmade and other displeasing surprises upon entering their room. Nothing extreme enough to deter the reaosnable person, but more of an effort could be made by management to compel cleaning staff to clean properly.
