The Strands Inn was originally built as a Hotel and Post House around 1800. 'The Strands' as it is affectionately known has always been the centre of local life in the beautiful hamlet of Nether Wasdale in the Lake District. This Award Winning Cumbrian Inn is perfectly located with easy access to Britain's favourite view 'Wast Water' and England's highest mountain 'Scafell Pike'. Mark and Lesley Corr, the proud owners of the 'The Strands Inn & Brewery' and recently in May 2017 purchased the Screes Inn, which is the other B&B in Nether Wasdale along with their family and staff, will extend a warm and welcoming service that is second to none.
