About The Capitol Hotel Downtown, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The Downtown convention center is a three star hotel located in the city centre of Nashville, Tennessee. The hotel is right near the War Memorial Auditorium, Tennessee State Capital and Tennessee State Museum. There are 101 guest rooms available divided over 5 floors. There are 2 rooms available for guests with a disability and there are non-smoking rooms. All the guest rooms have cable satellite television, telephone with free local calls, desk, coffee and tea making facilities, hairdryer, iron, iron board, in-room safe and a bathroom with shower. Some rooms have a microwave and refrigerator available. The hotel has Business Plus rooms with high-speed internet access. There are cribs and extra beds available. Children 17 and younger can stay for free at the hotel when using the existing bedding. The hotel serves daily complimentary breakfast. Guests can work out at the exercise facility which is open between 6 and 10am. At the hotel is a giftshop / newsstand. Guest laundry is possible from 6am to 10pm against a fee.
