Guests very much enjoyed the pool facility, which they found to be beautiful and excellently maintained, while the beds were thought to be particularly comfortable, the rooms spacious and the decor was said to be trendy by some.
The Mexican-style food in the restaurant was generally thought to be very good, in addition to the tasty cocktails and popular free snacks at reception.
The Clarendon was said to have a very nice atmosphere, friendly and competent staff which proved very helpful on reception, and bikes available to use to explore Phoenix's attractions.
A small number of those who stayed at The Clarendon considered it to be overpriced, and particularly since they were surprised by the amenities fees which made their stay more expensive than they had considered.
While most who stayed thought the decor was rather nice, a few guests said the hotel seemed to be a bit old and in need of some renovation.
A handful of guests said they had issues with the air conditioning being a little too hot, too cold, or hard to operate.
