About The Elms Hotel

Built in 1792, as a private residence. The Elms House as it was known by, was used as an army barracks during the Second World War. It became an elegant hotel post-war, with additional rooms added when the rear stable block was tastefully converted. Now The Elms Hotel is a grade II listed independantly, family owned hotel. Within walking distance from the historic Retford town centre. A short drive to National Trust's Clumber Park and the famous Sherwood Forest's Major Oak. With close transport links, Lincoln, Doncaster, Nottingham and Sheffield shopping areas are within 30 minutes drive away. Within 20 Minute drive from Doncaster airport.
