The Imperial Hotel

Barceló Blackpool Imperial stands right on Blackpool's North Promenade overlooking the beach and the sea. The North Pier, Blackpool Tower and most of the town's other attractions are all within a short walking distance. The hotel dates from the latter part of the 19th century and has played host to many famous guests over the decades including Charles Dickens. It is currently a part of the Barceló Hotels & Resorts group who have recently completed a £4 million refurbishment program. There are 150 rooms each of which are equipped with all of the standard amenities that one would expect to find in a 4 star hotel of this type, but in addition to these standard features all rooms have a refrigerator and a separate seating area. Free wifi is available in the rooms and throughout the hotel. The hotel has its own restaurant and bar and there is also a sauna, solarium, Jacuzzi and steam bath. Services available include babysitting, laundry, dry cleaning and round the clock room service. A car park is available for an additional fee of £2.50 per day.
