Although just a short distance away from local amenities, the resort is tucked away and guests appreciated the peaceful rural setting. Many said that sitting on their balconies whilst admiring the sunsets over the lake was the highlight of their stay.
Guests described their rooms as pleasantly decorated and modern with all the necessary amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Many appreciated the under-floor heating in the bathrooms and the up-to-date suites as well as the cozy gas fires.
The beach and the main strip are both a short walk away from the resort which the guests found very convenient. Those who wanted to venture further afield could hire free bikes from the resort or take advantage of the complimentary shuttle.
Some of the guests were disappointed to find that their view of the lake was obscured by cars in the parking lot. Although most rooms have lake views not all are uninterrupted, so if you are keen on a picturesque view it's advisable to let the staff know prior to booking.
Those who dined at the on-site restaurant objected to waiting longer than expected to receive their meals and said that the staff seemed rather inattentive. The service at breakfast was also described as quite slow with guests having to wait for the staff to give them menus and to place orders.
