Clean, comfortable motel units, all with private balconies with lake & mountain views. Kitchenettes newly renovated in June 2014. Ainsworth is situated alongside the Kootenay Lake between the Selkirk and Purcell Mountain ranges, in a Forest setting with the Kokanee Glacier as its back-drop. The healing waters of Ainsworth Hot Springs is the most popular attraction in this area but there are many more activities and attractions nearby. The Mermaid Motel offers its guests access to their on-site hot tub/jacuzzi (open year-round). Other amenities include Free Wifi and satellite TV/radio, pure mountain air and glacier-fed drinking water. Pet friendly for trained and quiet pets. Motel kitchenettes contain 1 small separate bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 queen bed in living room, 1 futon in dining room, capable of sleeping 2-6 persons and a fully equipped kitchenette. Lodge sleeping units contain 2 double beds or 1 queen bed & 1 double bed. In-room coffee but no refrigerator or microwave. Sleeps 2-4 persons.
