About The Orchid Hotel Mumbai Vile Parle

The Ecotel Orchid in Mumbai is a 5 star hotel with an eco-friendly focus that combines luxury with environmental sensitivity. It is Asia's first certified eco-friendly 5 star hotel and the only Ecotel worldwide with ISO 14001 certification. The hotel is close to Mumbai's domestic airport (5 minute drive) and international airport (15 minutes drive) which, combined with the business centre and conference centre, make the hotel ideal for business meetings and conferences. Courtesy transfers to both airports are available. The hotel has 245 rooms and suites ranging from deluxe rooms to Presidential Suite. All rooms are 'green' and minimise the use of paper, wood and plastic. Laundry and newspapers are delivered in cane baskets, coat hangers are made from pressed particle board, pencils and stationery are made from recycled materials, potted plants are used instead of cut flowers and guests have an optional 'eco button' by the bed which reduces the electricity use on air conditioning. The hotel has a rooftop pool, fitness centre, travel desk, same day laundry service and extensive business facilities. Dining options include a coffee shop, cake shop, grill, and 2 restaurants.
