The Wentworth is a traditional, family-run hotel situated on the seafront along the beautiful Suffolk coast. All individually-styled rooms are bright and traditional and have en-suite facilities. Many rooms also provide stunning sea views and have their own lounge areas. All guests can enjoy sea views from the hotel’s terrace and gardens and relax in one of the two spacious lounge areas, which feature open fires and cosy seating. There is also free Wi-Fi and private parking available at the hotel. The award-winning restaurant at The Wentworth serves fresh, locally-sourced produce and has daily specials. A full English breakfast is served each morning in the dining room. Just steps from the beach, The Wentworth is also well-situated for the shops, bars and restaurants of Aldeburgh town centre. Further afield, the hotel is just a short drive from both Felixstowe and Southwold.

The majority of The Wentworth’s previous and repeat guests have nothing but praise for the staff at the hotel. Most commented that they received a warm welcome and that throughout their stay the staff were attentive, courteous and always on hand to assist
Because The Wentworth is located along the beach, the views from both the communal parts of the hotel as well as some of the rooms are superb. Most guests staying in rooms with sea views couldn’t praise them highly enough.
While most guests felt that the service at The Wentworth was good, others felt that the staff were often very busy and sometimes rushed. This could lead to them not being particularly attentive at times.
There is no lift at this hotel, with lots of stairs to climb. This means it doesn’t sufficiently meet the needs of guests with mobility problems.
Some guests felt that their room was smaller than they anticipated. However, most enjoyed their stay and particularly liked the views from the rooms.
