About The Whistledown Hotel
The Whisteldown is a 21 guest room hotel situated on the shores of Carlingford Lough with magnificent views of the Mourne Mountains and Carlingford Peninsula. It specialises in conferences, banqueting, weddings and private dining. The property has two restaurants and two bars and a seafront patio/beer garden overlooking Carlingford Lough. We are winners of the 'Most Romantic Wedding Venue Southern 2016' and has been nominated for the 'Yes Chef Awards 2017'. It is less than a 10 minute drive to the Belfast - Dublin Economic Corridor making it a perfect choice for corporate events. The hotel is located on the Mourne Coastal Route with Kilbroney Mountain Biking Trails only a 6 minute drive. Enjoy a boat trip on the Lough and visit the quaint town of Carlingford. Take a walk through Warrenpoint Municipal Park with tennis courts, children’s play area and the beautiful Edwardian band stand or take a leisurely walk along the promenade which is only a few meters from our front door.
