The 4-star Velvet Hotel is a modern, non-smoking establishment located on Canal Street in Manchester, conveniently close to both the Piccadilly and Oxford Road train stations. The hotel offers 19 boutique-style guest rooms with contemporary décor, air-conditioning, iPod docking stations and free Wi-Fi Internet access as well as CD/DVD-players, room safes and mini-bars. 24-hour reception and discounted NCP Parking is provided and there are special packages for clubbers wishing to enjoy the DJ entertainment at the Velvet Lounge Bar on weekends. The Lounge Bar is open daily from 4pm to late, except on Sundays when it opens at 2pm. Facilities include the Velvet Restaurant which is open from noon to 10pm daily and for breakfast both Continental and full English a-la-carte menus are presented from 7am to 11am on weekdays and from 8am to 11am on weekends. Al fresco dining is an option and roasts are on offer until 6pm each Sunday. Major credit cards are accepted.
