Positive Reviews
positive:
Delicious fruit selection at breakfast.
Guests are spoiled for choice when it comes to the complimentary breakfast display. The variety of fresh fruit alone adds to the tropical feel of the hotel, and gives one that extra boost of nutrition when a lot of travelling saps the energy from one's body.
positive:
Shared kitchen facility.
Guests are able to take matters into their own hands when it comes to mealtimes, as there is a shared kitchen facility. Those staying in the private hotel rooms are provided with a mini-fridge, so are able to store any supermarket-bought goods they wish to cook for themselves.
positive:
Knowledgeable hotel staff.
The hotel staff are full of information when it comes to the hidden gems on the island, and can make suggestions on where to visit based on what each guests is looking for.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Noisy nighttime.
Guests who suffer with being easily awoken, will find the natural noises to be a bit but. The hotel supplies earplugs as the tree frogs in the area swing into overdrive once the sun has gone down. For some it is the sound of nature, others, a persistent sleep-prevention.
negative:
No air-con.
For a tropical island, the heat can sometimes be overwhelming. And unfortunately there is no air-conditioning installed at this hotel. Guests will have to make do with the ceiling fans, and open windows catching the island breeze.
negative:
Old building has old facilities.
Some of the older facilities are a little more noticeable. Some guests will have problems with squeaky taps, others with the thin walls and being able to hear their neighbours.
