Aquopolis (La Pineda de Salou, Spain)

Aquapolis, in LaPineda, is the biggest water park along the Spanish Costa Daurada with its 11 hectare site near the town of Salou. As well as the usual water slide runs, wave pools and Jacuzzi’s, there are also dolphin and seal shows, (where you can swim with the seals) trampolines or even mini golf. Water attractions are available for all age groups, from thrill slides to mellow river drifting. Local buses stop right outside the park. At the ticket office you can take a map of the park to find your way around and hire a locker. There are lots of lawn areas and shade throughout the park for sunbathing. Alternatively there are sunbeds for hire and yellow rubber rings for the rides. These can also be found at the beginning of the runs for free, although seeing as they are few, this means queuing and waiting. The car park contains up to 700 spaces. Within the park itself there are snack bars, restaurants, bars and shops. The park is open from May to October, and tickets cost around 24€ per person.
