The Mosque is located in the centre of Dalyan and was first built in 1552 during the Ottoman rule. Parts of the Mosque still date back to this date. The minaret was struck by lightening so was replaced. In 2008 the Mosque was restored to its original design. It is open to visitors outside of prayer time, but sensible clothing should be worn and legs and arms covered.
