The Desert Botanical Garden is a 140 acres botanical garden located at 1201 N. Galvin Parkway in Papago Park founded by the Arizona Cactus and Native Flora Society in 1936. With over 50,000 plants, including different species of cacti, you can see an exotic and beautiful side of Arizona’s local fauna. Additionally, events are hosted in the historic Webster Auditorium, certified by National Park Service in 1990, and in the surrounding areas, including live music, theater, and the Spring Butterfly Exhibit. There is no restriction of age for entry. The garden is open to public every day from 7 am to 8 pm. Exploration in the evening with flashlight is sure to appeal to any children accompanying you! Photographers, botanists, and anyone looking for a relaxing stroll are all invited to enjoy and support the various conservation efforts pursued by the Desert Botanical Garden.
