The Downtown Aquarium is privately owned by the Landry’s Restaurant group and is located just off I-25 near downtown in an area known as Lo-Do (or Lower Downtown) along the Platte River near Confluence Park. It is made up of three facilities under one roof. First is the aquarium adventure exhibit, second is the Aquarium Restaurant and the third is the Dive Lounge. The following information is for the Aquarium Adventure exhibit: Admissions vary by the hour of visitation. Before 6 p.m. adults pay $13.25. After 6 p.m. adults pay $9.95. Different rates apply for seniors and children between the ages of 4 12. Children under the age of 3 are free. Hours of operation are Sunday to Thursday, 10 a.m.to 10 p.m. and Friday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. The hours of operation for the Aquarium Restaurant are Sunday to Thursday, 11 a.m.to 10 p.m. and Friday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. (The hours for the Dive Lounge are the same as the Restaurant, except that it closes an hour later.)
