Footlights Cafe, Bar and Restaurant was established in the 1980s, occupying a site adjacent to the Grafton Shopping Centre with which it also shares an entrance. Its name acknowledges the Cambridge tradition of the Footlights Review. Footlights features a full service cocktail bar, informal cafe and air-conditioned restaurant. It offers alfresco dining and is open for breakfast, lunch (12 noon to 4pm), afternoon tea and evening meals. It has regular stage productions including a cabaret, jazz shows and a fortnightly comedy club production “The Thursday Night Live Show”. Footlights can also cater for private functions for up to 250 guests. Major credit and debit cards are accepted. There is an adjacent multi-storey car park The restaurant is reached by an open air staircase to the main building. There is elevator access from inside the Grafton Centre during shopping hours.
