The Fortune Theatre is located in Covent Garden, part of London’s West End, on Russell Street. The theatre first opened in 1924 and it was the first theatre to be built in London after WW1. The theatre’s original name was Fortune Thriller Theatre. Over the years, the theatre has been home to many plays although The Woman in Black is the longest running as it still plays today. Inside the theatre is split up into three different seating areas, stalls on the lowest level, then dress circle and the at the highest level there is the upper circle. Fortune Theatre has a total of 432 seats, making it one of the smallest theatres in the West End.
